About Christopher Myers 

Christopher Myers, knew from an early age that he wanted to be an Attorney. From his gift of chatter and debate to his passion for people, there was no other career possible. He began his path to becoming an Attorney after enrolling in the Pre-Law Magnet program at Fort Lauderdale High School. Go Flying L’s! Once enrolled, he joined the debate team and quickly ascended to their national debate team.

 

As a member of the national debate team, he had the pleasure of competing at Harvard University, the University of Florida, and several other institutions. After four years on the team and several awards, Mr. Myers graduated with Honors and began his post-secondary education at Florida Atlantic University with a major in International Business and Trade. From there, he enrolled in Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law.

 

During Mr. Myers’ tenure at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law, he was awarded the Book Award in Constitutional Law, he acted as the Treasurer of BlackLaw Students’ Association, and as the Treasurer and Secretary of the Christian Legal Society. During his tenure at the College of Law, he interned at the Orange County Public Defender’s Office, the Orange County State Attorney’s Office, and at Jolly Esquire.

 

However, Mr. Myers focused his energies on the housing clinic, where he guided underprivileged families into successful negotiations with their landlords to resolve complex housing-related issues. When he was not studying, volunteering, or interning, Mr. Myers was working as a circulation assistant at the university’s library. Upon graduation, Mr. Myers studied and successfully passed the Florida Bar exam on his first attempt in September 2014.

From there, he became gainfully employed at Cole Scott and Kissane, P.A. in their Nursing Home Abuse and Neglect division. During his tenure at Cole, Scott, and Kissane, P.A. Mr. Myers participated in all aspects of civil litigation. From working in the Nursing Home division, Mr.Myers was eventually promoted to more complex cases involving medical malpractice matters.After five years of dealing with matters of complex litigation, Mr. Myers transitioned to opening his own firm, The Myers Firm, P.A. in May 2019.

 

Since then, Mr. Myers has developed TheMyers Firm, P.A. into a firm built on the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion. His practice areas include Estate Planning, Probate, Real Estate, and Family Law. Since starting his firm, Mr. Myers has utilized his skill sets to advance the causes of the less fortunate through organizations like the Urban League, The Salvation Army, and his local Chamber of Commerce.

 

Mr. Myers is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida.
